This charming establishment is not just about serving food; it’s about creating a warm and inviting experience that feels like home. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the intoxicating aroma of freshly baked bread and rich coffee wafting through the air—a true testament to its name.

Sunray is renowned for its cozy atmosphere, making it the perfect spot for a casual gathering with friends, a quick coffee break, or a cozy lunch. Patrons rave about the café's rustic charm, with many expressing how the inviting ambiance makes them feel instantly welcomed. The menu offers an array of comforting dishes, with customer favorites that include a traditional fry and an assortment of tempting bakery items. The quality and taste are consistently applauded, as noted by John Kearney, who describes it as a “Brilliant little spot” with quick service and traditional food that warms the soul. Each plate is generously portioned and crafted with care, ensuring that you leave satisfied and eager to return.

The coffee here is something special—many patrons have likened it to homemade bliss, an idea echoed by Paula Gross Stecca, who praised the “coffee like it was homemade!” Whether you prefer a rich cappuccino or a simple black cup, the baristas at Sunray take pride in delivering the perfect brew to kickstart your day or provide that much-needed midday pick-me-up.

Really is the place to go at the moment. The food is excellent the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I've met in a long time. No surprise that it can be hard to get a table sometimes but worth waiting for and the price will surprise you.

Only called to spend Euros before cycling north. Generous sized pot of tasty tea and a massive range of cakes and savouries. A German lady cycling south saw my bike so joined me: convivial meeting place!
